When Anmol Rodriguez was just two months old, her life was changed forever

When Anmol Rodriguez was just two months old, her life was changed forever. Her father, angry that she had been born a girl, attacked her and her mother with acid. Her mother tragically died in the attack, while Rodriguez was left with permanent scars. Her father was later sent to prison, and her family abandoned her.

Rodriguez was taken in by a Mumbai orphanage, where she grew up and slowly began rebuilding her life.

Today, she is far more than a survivor. She has become a powerful voice for acid attack survivors around the world, a fashion influencer, and a source of inspiration for countless people.

In 2017, she founded the Sahas Foundation, an NGO dedicated to helping acid attack survivors heal, regain confidence, and build new lives.

Rodriguez has also become a TEDx speaker and, in 2018, made her acting debut in the short film Aunty Ji, starring alongside legendary actress Shabana Azmi.

From surviving an unimaginable tragedy to becoming an advocate, influencer, speaker, and actress, Rodriguez has refused to let her past define her.

Her story deserves to be heard. Let’s help make Anmol Rodriguez even more famous!
