A baby reveal took a disturbing turn when it became a “fetus deletus” post after a woman claimed she ended her pregnancy because the father “wasn’t s**t,” igniting a fierce debate online.
At first glance, the Instagram graphic looked like the kind of pregnancy announcement that regularly fills social media feeds, complete with tiny baby shoes, alphabet blocks and an ultrasound image arranged around a due date.
But there was no joyful reveal or countdown to a new arrival. Instead, the woman behind the account, who calls herself Moraa, shared an AI-generated announcement declaring “Baby Canceled,” immediately setting off a wave of shock, anger and support online.
“Due date was April 14, 2027. Mommy changed her mind. Daddy wasn’t s–t,” read the announcement.

The post quickly took off, attracting more than 180,000 likes as people debated not only the supposed decision to terminate the pregnancy, but also the unapologetic way it had seemingly been announced to the world.
For some people, the message struck a nerve because they believed terminating the pregnancy was preferable to having a child with a father she already considered an unsuitable partner.
“It [has never] never been smart to bring kids into a world of chaos. Good for you lol,” one supporter wrote.
Another went even further, writing: “Wish more women were like this. It’s called intelligence.”
