Jeffrey Epstein’s defense lawyer has weighed in after Elon Musk and Donald Trump had a public argument where accusations were made that the President is named in the Epstein files.
What started as a spat over a spending bill turned into a full-blown online brawl, with Musk throwing out one of the biggest bombs of his life: that Trump’s name appears in the Jeffrey Epstein files and that’s why they haven’t been made public.
“Time to drop the really big bomb,” Musk wrote on X. “@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
He wasn’t done. Musk doubled down just hours later: “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
As Musk’s Epstein tweet exploded across the internet, one high-profile voice jumped into the fire – David Schoen, the attorney who represented Epstein just days before his death in 2019.
“I was hired to lead Jeffrey Epstein’s defence as his criminal lawyer 9 days before he died,” Schoen wrote on X.
“He sought my advice for months before that. I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information to hurt President Trump. I specifically asked him!”
